FCA Next Level Club Sports


Club Sports through Southeast MN FCA provide athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher level while continuing to grow in character and faith. These programs are designed for athletes seeking intentional development, competitive play, and Christ-centered coaching.

Our Mission

FCA Next Level is designed for athletes who are ready to grow as competitors while developing character rooted in faith. Our club environment emphasizes skill development, teamwork, discipline, and leadership — all while pointing athletes toward Christ. Through competitive play, intentional coaching, and Christ-centered mentorship, athletes will be challenged both on and off the court.

This team will participate in five tournaments during the season:

 

  • March 28 – Bloomington
    AAU Event: The Opener

 

  • April 4 – South Metro
    2026 Heat Select – Starting Point Tournament


  • April 17–19 – South Metro
    AAU Spring Showdown


  • April 25 – Kasson
    2026 Heat in the House of Hoops


  • May 8–10 – Chaska / Burnsville
    MN AAU Boys State Tournament


Faith & Character Development


As part of FCA Sports, FCA Next Level intentionally integrates faith into the team environment through team prayer, devotionals, and character-focused discussions that encourage spiritual growth alongside athletic development.

Coaches







Matt 
Hunter is the Next Level 4th Grade Boys Coach. Matt has been coaching with FCA and Champion Basketball since 2017 and has been one of the league organizers since 2024. He has been officiating both youth and high school basketball in the Rochester area since 2008. Matt and his family are members of Christ Community Church, where he also serves as a volunteer in the kids ministry.
